Information about Laundry Sheets

Laundry Sheets are a fairly new product in the washing up game, and they have taken the market by storm. Here we list some of the many reasons why we believe Laundry Sheets can hold their own, and why they deserve a place in your utility room. Briefly, they are more eco friendly because they are less resource heavy during the manufacturing process, using far less water, and they are more economical to ship due to their size, shape, and lack of hazards during transit.

Are Laundry Sheets good at cleaning?

Yes! The real genius of laundry sheets are their eco-friendly qualities, but they definitely pack a punch of cleaning power too. The key ingredients for cleaning clothes are all there right on the paper, and the paper dissolves away during the wash. We have seen, and heard, many testimonies from our customers and the public praising  laundry sheets.

They are pre-measured so that you get a perfect balance of detergent in each wash, ensuring your clothes will be cleaned by the power of paper! This eliminates the need for boxes of powder and washing detergent under the sink, replacing that with an elegantly small box of compact detergent on exquisite sheets of lovely paper.

Laundry Sheets vs Liquid Detergent

Well I’m glad you asked, there are a number of perfectly sound reasons for this:

The first and foremost reason in our minds is the fact that these sheets are typically more eco friendly than their liquid counterparts. Why? Because of the production process for liquid detergent, they add lots of water to highly concentrated detergent, meaning the transportation process is very considerably more carbon heavy.

Also, the packaging; obviously, plastic bottles of detergent are far less ideal than perfectly box shaped cardboard houses. These get much more compactly packed onto trucks, meaning less trips, and less fuel.

How to use Laundry Sheets?

It’s really simple, and very similar to how your would usually do your washing:

  1. Load your dirty washing into your washing machine, just like you normally would if you were using liquid or powder detergents.
  2. Throw a single laundry sheet into the washing machine, because we need the sheet to dissolve during the wash cycle. But for big loads, you could always throw 2 sheets in.
  3. Turn on the washing machine, preferably an eco setting if your particular machine has the option for this. Obviously the sheets work better at higher temperatures, but eco settings work just fine too.
