Why Swap?

We all love to give and receive cards – but doing so can have a detrimental impact on the environment. In 2020, an estimated 834 million cards were bought in the UK, many of which were wrapped in single-use plastic packaging which can take up to 1000 years to degrade naturally.

Each one of these plantable cards is made with the environment in mind. Instead of throwing their card away, the recipient can plant it and watch it turn into flowers. And the packaging is fully biodegradable – absolutely nothing goes to waste!
